Refund Policy — When You Get Your Money Back, and How

This is the AssignmentHelpNZ refund policy. It sets out when money comes back, when a free revision is the remedy instead, and what sits outside both. Every qualifying and non-qualifying situation is listed in a table, alongside the claim window, the decision window, the payment window, the cancellation terms, the late-delivery scale and the escalation route. It applies to every order placed through this site.

  • Full, partial, revision-first and no-refund outcomes in one table
  • Free-revision entitlement, and where it stops applying
  • Claim, decision and payment windows written down, not implied
  • Cancellation terms, late-delivery scale and the escalation route

THE RULE BEHIND EVERY DECISION

The AssignmentHelpNZ Refund Policy Runs on One Rule: Fix It First, Refund It Second

Most refund fights start the same way. The file missed the brief, and the only remedy was an argument at 3am.

Last updated: 25 August 2026

A revision fixes it while the paper is still due

Money back does not hand in an assessment. If the argument drifted, a criterion was skipped or the referencing is wrong, the same writer redoes it free — and you get a file you can submit.

A refund applies when a revision cannot save it

Sometimes no time is left to redo anything. Sometimes the file answers a different brief, or never arrived. The AssignmentHelpNZ refund policy names those cases below rather than leaving them to a support agent's mood.

The free-revision entitlement, and where it stops

  • Revisions that bring the file back to your original brief are free and unlimited for 7 days after delivery
  • One further revision after your marker responds is inside the price, whenever that feedback lands
  • A revision restores the brief you sent; it cannot rewrite it. A changed brief is quoted as new work
  • The original writer picks it up by default. Ask for someone else and the order is reallocated
  • Asking for a revision does not pause or extend the refund claim window. The two run side by side
  • You never have to exhaust revisions before you claim. Where a revision cannot land in time, say so

These terms cover every order, alongside the terms you agree to at checkout and our academic integrity position. Where they disagree, the more generous reading wins.

Refund Outcomes by Situation — Full, Partial, Revision First or Nothing

EVERY DOLLAR BACK

Full Refund Situations, Named So Nobody Has to Argue Them

The AssignmentHelpNZ refund policy names the situations where a rewrite would insult you rather than fix it, and returns the whole figure instead.

The file never arrived

The simplest row in the table. No file means no charge, and the money goes back without a claim being argued.

It arrived after your portal closed

If the delay was ours and you could not submit, the whole figure returns, even on a three-hour turnaround we agreed to take.

It answers somebody else's question

Not a weak paper — the wrong paper. Wrong case, wrong module, wrong task.

The citations do not check out

Sources nobody can find, or that do not support the claim beside them. The failure we take most seriously.

You were charged twice

Duplicates go back to the original card or account, unprompted.

A similarity problem we could not fix in time

Every file carries a similarity index. If the matched text is ours and we cannot clear it in time, that is a full refund.

SHOWING THE ARITHMETIC

Partial Refunds Are a Proportion, and the Arithmetic Is Published

Under the AssignmentHelpNZ refund policy a partial refund is a proportion, not a gesture. Its size is set by how much of the order was delivered, how much of it you could actually use, and where the failure sat.

01

Split the order into parts

A four-section report is four parts. A deck plus notes is two. Only the failed share counts.

02

Ask what you could use

Submitted work has value even when it disappointed. Work you could not hand in has none.

03

Weigh whose fault it was

A missing appendix is ours. A brief you rewrote at midnight is yours. The decision email says which.

A worked example, so the percentage is not a mystery

Worked example of a partial refund calculation on a four-part report
StepFigure
Bachelor Year 3 report, four sections, booked five days outNZ$112
One section unusable, no time to redo it25% of the job
You submitted the other three and were marked75% retained
Fault sat with us, so no deductionno adjustment
Refunded to your original payment methodNZ$28

The order value in that example is an ordinary one — most orders on this site sit between a few dozen and a few hundred New Zealand dollars — and the same method applies whatever the figure. It covers a short presentation deck build, a multi-section business report and a long thesis chapter project alike. Rounding always goes up, to the nearest dollar in your favour. You are sent the arithmetic, not just the outcome.

THE HONEST HALF OF THE PAGE

Exclusions the AssignmentHelpNZ Refund Policy States Plainly

A policy that says yes to everything is one nobody honours. These refusals are published before you order.

The mark you were given

We do not sell grades, so we cannot refund one. Marking is your marker's call and moderation is your school's, and neither is a process we sit inside. A disappointing mark is not, on its own, a failure of the brief.

A brief that changed after work started

Lecturers do change the task, and we requote quickly. We will not treat a new scope as a failed old one. Send the update the day it arrives.

A claim raised long after the window closed

Evidence goes cold. Portals close, feedback is archived, and no writer can answer for a file two trimesters back.

A delay you were part of

If a writer asked for the rubric on Tuesday and it came Friday, the clock moved. The late clause covers our delays, not shared ones.

Free extras taken on their own

The similarity report, detection report, referencing sweep, formatting and line edit are worth NZ$100 and cost nothing. Never charged, never separately refundable.

Anything we told you we would not do

We never sit a test as you or log in to your portal, and we say so before payment. Where exam and quiz preparation is bought instead, these terms apply.

LODGING A CLAIM

Lodging a Refund Claim, Step by Step, With the Evidence That Settles It

Claims open on delivery and stay open for 14 days. No account, no template, no legal tone. An order number and one clear sentence starts it.

01

Email or message us

Write to info@assignmenthelpnz.com or use the WhatsApp thread you already have.

02

Name the row you are in

Late, missing, off-brief, bad citations, part-delivered. Naming it saves two rounds.

03

Attach what you have

A screenshot beats a description. The list below is what moves a decision.

04

Get a written decision

One email: outcome, amount and reasoning.

Evidence that genuinely changes the outcome

  • The submission page and its closing time
  • The criteria sheet, to set against what we wrote
  • Marker feedback naming the criterion missed
  • The citation you could not find, and where you looked
  • Your bank line if a payment was taken twice
  • Nothing, where our delivery log settles it

Claims about a research paper and its method section or a case study analysis settle from the criteria sheet alone. Where clinical content is involved, the specialist behind the nursing brief reads it, not an administrator.

EVERY WINDOW, WRITTEN DOWN

Refund Decision and Payment Windows, Stage by Stage

These are the standard windows. Most close faster, and we say so on day one if yours will not.

Standard time windows for claims, decisions and payments under the AssignmentHelpNZ refund policy
Stage Standard window What reaches you
Free revision requestedwithin 7 days of deliveryThe same writer picks it up, usually within hours.
Refund claim lodgedwithin 14 days of deliveryA reference number and your reviewer's name.

Money leaves us2 business days after thatTo the card or account you paid from.
Money lands with you5–10 business daysCard reversals slowest, NZ transfers quickest.
Escalation reviewed5 business daysA second reading by someone uninvolved.

Business days mean NZ business days

Weekends and New Zealand public holidays do not count. Support runs 24/7; the finance run does not.

Live deadlines jump the queue

If your submission is still open, say so first. Same-day decisions are possible.

Your bank sets the last leg

Once payment leaves us, the timing is your bank's. You get the reference to chase it.

CURRENCY, METHOD AND RECORD

Refunds Are Paid in New Zealand Dollars, to the Method You Paid From

A decision is only half of it. This clause covers what actually reaches your account, in what currency, by what route, and what evidence of the payment you are given.

The same currency you were charged

Refunds are issued in NZD at the figure on your invoice. We do not convert, and we do not deduct a processing fee from the amount awarded. If your bank applies its own conversion on the way back, that leg is between you and your bank.

The same card or account you paid from

Money goes back down the route it came up: the original card, the original bank transfer, or the original PayPal balance. Where that card has expired or been closed, we pay a New Zealand bank account you nominate from the email address on the order.

Money, not credit

A refund is a payment, not a voucher. We do not substitute store credit, a discount on a future order or a free upgrade unless you ask for one of those instead, in writing, and say so in the same thread.

What the payment record shows

  • A transaction reference, so you can chase your own bank if the money stalls
  • The order number the refund was raised against, not the card number
  • The amount awarded and, where it was partial, the proportion it was drawn from
  • The date the payment left us, which starts your bank’s own clock
  • A duplicate charge is returned against whichever transaction cleared second
  • Nothing identifying your paper or your institution appears on the statement line

The free extras attached to an order — the similarity report, the referencing sweep, the formatting pass and the line edit — are never priced separately, so they are never refunded separately either. A partial refund is always calculated against the writing you paid for, whether the order was a short proofreading and editing pass or a full dissertation build.

CHANGING YOUR MIND

Cancellation Terms Depend on How Much of Your Paper Exists

The AssignmentHelpNZ refund policy measures cancellation against one thing: how much of your paper already exists. Extensions get granted and plans change.

Before a writer is allocated

Everything comes back. No hours have been spent, so there is nothing to charge for. One message does it.

After allocation, before delivery

You pay for what exists. We ask the writer how far in they are, send you the partial draft, and refund the rest.

After the file is delivered

Cancellation no longer applies. Once you hold the work, the question is whether it met the brief. The table above governs that.

Got an extension and want to move a rush order down to standard? That is a repricing, not a cancellation, and the difference comes back — the same route as a lower price for booking earlier.

THE CLAUSE THAT MATTERS MOST

Late Delivery Compensation Scales to the Hours It Cost You

Lateness is the failure students fear most, so it gets the clearest rule, measured against the delivery time we agreed.

Compensation applied when a file is delivered later than the agreed time
How late the file was What you get Applies when
Under 2 hoursPriority revision, no chargeYou still submitted on time.
2 to 12 hours15% backYou submitted, with or without a small penalty.
12 to 24 hours30% backA late penalty hit your mark.
Over 24 hours50% backYou submitted well outside the window.
Too late to submit at all100% backThe portal had closed. No proportion, no argument.

This clause is why we turn work down. Three hours is the shortest brief we take, and only when it is clear, because a yes we cannot keep costs more than the order is worth. What we accept sits with our main assignment writing service, and the writers bound by the AssignmentHelpNZ refund policy are on the writer panel page.

IF THE ANSWER IS WRONG

Escalation Opens a Second Review by Someone With No Part in the First Answer

Reply to the decision email within 14 days and say why. One sentence opens a second review by someone with no part in your order or the first answer.

A fresh pair of eyes

The reviewer sees your brief, the file, the reports and the first decision. They can raise the amount, never lower it.

Five business days, then an answer

Written, with the reasoning spelled out. If it agrees with the first answer, you are told why.
